BRUCE MAGGIN

 

During his career Bruce Maggin has held senior management positions in virtually every segment of the media and communications industries and he has been responsible for creating a succession of new businesses that have increased entertainment and information alternatives for the consumer.

 

Prior to forming H.A.M. Media, Mr. Maggin was Executive Vice President and Head of the ABC Multimedia Group, one of the five divisions of Capital Cities/ABC. In that role, he was responsible for directing ABC's activities in the digital world including the formation of a broad range of ventures that developed, produced and distributed content for emerging media platforms such as video games, web-based services, location based entertainment, point of sale networks, and other video distribution systems.

 

Mr. Maggin had previously been responsible for overseeing all of the start-up and venture business activities of Capital Cities/ABC including the creation and development of leading cable program networks Lifetime and ESPN. He had joined ABC as a member of the company's Corporate Planning Department after serving as a merger and acquisition consultant for a major Wall Street bank and then Vice President of Ziff Corporation, a publishing and television broadcasting company.

 

Mr. Maggin has been a member of the Board of Directors of several companies including cable networks, Lifetime and ESPN.  He also served as a member of the board of directors of PVH Corp. (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Izod, etc.) for 28 years where he chaired the audit committee. He currently serves on the board of Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: CETV) where he chairs the compensation committee and on the Board of Trustees of Lafayette College from which he received a BA degree. Mr. Maggin also received JD and MBA degrees from Cornell University.
