The H.A.M. Media Group is an international investment and advisory firm specializing in the entertainment and communications industries. H.A.M. generally assists portfolio companies in achieving capital needs, developing business strategies and accomplishing operational goals. Upon occasion, H.A.M. undertakes advisory assignments for non-portfolio companies as well. Since its formation in 1997, H.A.M. has built a diverse portfolio of interests including management and oversight roles in two ventures: StoryFirst Communications and "atTV Media".

StoryFirst is an American corporation that owns and operates a television network, and broadcast stations, both television and radio, in Russia. "atTV Media" is a joint venture among Gemstar-TV Guide International (NASDAQ:GMST), Thomson Multimedia (NYSE:TMS), and NBC responsible for the sales and distribution of interactive advertising and services on Gemstar’s GUIDE Plus+ electronic program guide.
Other H.A.M. investments and advisory roles include: 1) Abamedia, a global producer of award winning cultural television programs and documentaries including “The Secrets of the Russian Archive”, a four-hour series for PBS, 2) Country Cable Network, a start-up multi-channel program service targeted at viewers interested in a country lifestyle, 3) IPO.com, a vertical portal for emerging growth companies, particularly those pursuing initial public offerings, 4) LatinaNet, an aggregator of Latin American television station programming for delivery to the Hispanic community using the internet, 5) TV Acquisition Group, a company formed to acquire over-the-air television stations, 6) WAO, an archiving and exploitation service for news clips and stills from the world’s greatest archives, 7) ZTT, a Panamanian based Network Access Point and co-location host. In addition, H.A.M., through its subsidiary, H.A.M. Distribution Co., has developed broad initiatives in direct response advertising as well as the production and distribution of television programming.
H.A.M.’s advisory services include acting as corporate representative for purposes of sale or refinancing. Assignments have included the sales of Interzine to Times Mirror Magazines, Sports Business Daily to Conde Nast, Savos to Giantbear, and Mitra to Cam Systems.
H.A.M. is also active in other parts of the world. It has local business partners of long standing in several territories including Germany, The U.K., The Czech Republic, Hungary, Scandinavia, India, Japan, China, and Korea.
